1. Tell me a little about yourself.
I am a Chicago born Pakistani photographer living in New Jersey. I love to find unusual abstracts and angles allowing the ordinary to appear extraordinary. I zoom in and bring light to the details of things around me. Creating abstracts and bringing attention to textures and patterns. My husband and I, along with our three year old boy and newborn love to travel enabling me to capture my adventures in bold, high contrast, dramatic photographs.

2. Where does your inspiration come from when crafting?
Everything! I love repetitive patterns, different types of architecture, I like to take something seemingly ordinary, overlooked and make it extraordinary.

3. Who taught you and how did you learn to craft?
I took photography as a minor in college.. and learnt the basics there.. and I continued to hone my skills and develop my point of view every day.

4. Any Specific Tips you have for newbie crafters starting a business in etsy?
Have patience.. don't expect your product to be flying off the virtual shelves the very next day..
Social Media is your friend, embrace it, use it.
Take good photographs..

5. Name 3 websites you couldn’t live without.
Facebook
Pinterest
Twitter
I love my social media.

6. What are your 2 favorite shops and why.
There is so much to love on Etsy.. every day you discover something new and beautiful. But my two favorite shops are:
www.etsy.com/shop/SecretWindowMirrors I love a beautiful mirror and her shop is full of them!
www.etsy.com/shop/theaterclouds have you seen her work? How could you not fall immediately in love with her creations?

7. Where do you see your crafting business in 10 years?
More travelling, more photographs captured and my work brightening up the walls of many more homes.
